U19: Banca Sella si qualifica all’interzona

Prova di grande solidità per la Banca Sella Biella nel campionato Under 19 Eccellenza. Al Lauretana Forum i rossoblù superano 67-39 Moncalieri, mantenendo così il comando della classifica, a due giornate dal termine della prima fase. Era una gara molto importante perchè in palio c’era la certezza di un posto tra le prime tre, e quindi il passaggio alla fase interregionale, inoltre Moncalieri fin’ora era stata l’unica squadra a battere la Pallacanestro Biella nel campionato Under 19.
L’inizio di gara non è bellissimo, con le due squadre un po’ contratte, ma i ragazzi di Federico Danna prendono subito il comando delle operazioni (17-12). Stesso copione nel secondo quarto, con Biella che non brilla e Moncalieri che con Milone e Baldasso resta aggrappato alla gara. Dopo l’intervallo però la Banca Sella cambia faccia: con una difesa molto aggressiva, e belle giocate in attacco arriva un parziale di 19-4 che spacca in due la gara. I biellesi dilagano superando i trenta punti di vantaggio, e alla fine il punteggio è un largo 67-39 che spiega chiaramente l’andamento della gara.
Prossimo impegno per la squadra U19 Eccellenza martedì 14 dicembre sul campo di Torino Basket.
