U19: La Banca Sella “schiaccia” Moncalieri

Primo successo per la Banca Sella Biella nella fase Interregionale del campionato Under 19 Eccellenza. Dopo la sconfitta nella gara d’esordio a Reggio Emilia, al Lauretana Forum i rossoblù superano Moncalieri con un netto 66-45.
La partita è equilibrata solo nel primo quarto, con Biella che ci mette un po’ ad entrare in partita. Infatti i torinesi riescono ad andare avanti 15-17 alla prima pausa. Già dal secondo parziale il copione cambia: la difesa della squadra di Federico Danna si fa più attenta e concede pochissimo agli avversari (appena 5 punti in 10 minuti per il 34-22). Anche nel terzo quarto Biella si dimostra superiore e, senza far niente di speciale, aumenta il suo vantaggio di minuto in minuto (56-32 al 30′). Si arriva anche al massimo vantaggio sul 62-35. La gara è ormai senza storia e solo negli ultimi minuti Moncalieri riduce le perdite fino al 66-45 con cui si conclude la gara.
Il prossimo impegno per la Banca Sella Under 19 sarà martedì 1 febbraio alle 20,30 al Lauretana Forum contro la Reyer Venezia.
