U14: Banca Sella su Ivrea nel finale

Terzo successo consecutivo per la Banca Sella Biella nel campionato Under 14 Open. La formazione rossoblù vince un’importantissima e incredibile partita sul campo di Ivrea 84-85 con un canestro proprio sulla sirena finale. Ottima partenza della squadra di Monciatti che dopo pochi minuti prende in mano la partita e chiude il primo quarto sul 17-25. Inizia bene anche il secondo quarto, con il vantaggio che si fa importante sul 23-34 al 13′. Qui arriva la reazione di Ivrea che effettua un parziale di 12-0 che riapre completamente la gara. Terzo quarto equilibrato, con i padroni di casa che proprio sul finale vanno avanti (57-61 al 30′), ma Pavone e compagni riescono a rimanere in scia. Nel finale Thiebat porta Biella avanti 81-83 a 1’20” dalla fine, ma Ivrea pareggia con due tiri liberi a 22” dalla fine. La Banca Sella si getta in attacco, perde palla e con un fallo manda in lunetta Montauti. Il giocatore di Ivrea segna un solo tiro libero e a 2” dalla fine il punteggio è 84-83. Rimessa per Biella e proprio sulla sirena arriva il canestro di Dell’Aira per la vittoria dei rossoblù.
