U19: la Banca Sella espugna anche Venezia

Vittoria importantissima per la Banca Sella Biella Under 19, che espugna il campo della Reyer Venezia per 78-72. Un successo che porta i rossoblù al terzo posto in classifica, in piena corsa per l’accesso diretto alle finali nazionali.
A iniziare bene è però Venezia, che cattura molti rimbalzi in attacco e conduce per tutto il primo parziale, che si chiude 22-17. Nel secondo quarto Biella stringe le maglie in difesa, concedendo appena 10 punti ai veneti. Così all’intervallo la gara torna in equilibrio (32-33).
Al rientro dagli spogliatoi è ancora la difesa rossoblu a fare la differenza. Venezia si affida a Ceron che tiene i suoi in partita, ma a 10 minuti dalla fine i ragazzi di coach Danna 47-52. I primi minuti del 4° parziale sono quasi perfetti per Biella: parziale di 5-19 che spezza la gara. Sul 51-71 a 3′ dalla sirena la gara sembra ormai in mano a Biella, ma Venezia non molla: Ceron realizza 17 punti e la Reyer prova a riaprire la partita. Alla fine però Biella mantiene qualche punto di vantaggio è può sorridere per la vittoria finale per 72-78.
Il prossimo impegno della formazione Under 19 biellese, sarà lunedì 28 alle 20,30 in casa contro Basket Riviera.
